Arjan Zazueta is a visual artist exploring masculinity and the ways in which male bodies occupy space. He received a BFA in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002 and an MFA in Sculpture from Syracuse University in 2009. His exhibitions include The John and June Alcott Gallery at UNC Chapel Hill, NC, Demo Project, Springfield, IL; Tilton Gallery, New York, NY; Rush Arts, New York, NY; Dog and Pony Projects, Buffalo, NY; Bemis Underground, Omaha, NE; among others. He has attended residencies at The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Vermont Studio Center, and The Ora Lerman Trust at Soaring Gardens. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, fiction writer Jennifer Bryan and his daughter Sadie.
